Penn State (19) v. (12) Wisconsin
Big Noon Kickoff gets started with a bang this year as two Big Ten powerhouses face off in Madison. Penn State is looking to bounce back after a poor 2020 season and a loss of significant talent to the NFL Draft. Wisconsin fared slightly better last year but to their standards they had an underwhelming season. Graham Mertz will look to bounce back as the high recruit is the most talented QB that the Badgers have had in a while. James Franklin understands how important this game is to his Nittany Lions season and knows that a loss to kickstart the season could have him in the hot seat. Expect a tight, close Big Ten style battle at Camp Randall.

Alabama (1) v. (14) Miami (FL)
The reigning National Champions will be looking to keep their undefeated streak alive as they travel to Mercedes Benz stadium in Atlanta to start the 2021 season. This neutral site game should have plenty of entertainment for neutral fans. Obviously Alabama is still the class of college football and despite losing numerous starters to the NFL, including QB Mac Jones, the Tide will roll on, as they always do. Miami enters this game with promise but also question marks as their star QB, D’Eriq King, is coming off a torn ACL late last season. I think Alabama wins rather comfortably but Miami won’t get completely blown out of the water.

Georgia (5) v. (2) Clemson
The big game of the weekend will kickoff in primetime from the home of the Carolina Panthers, Bank of America Stadium. The Bulldogs are looking to score a massive upset win to start the season while the Tigers are aiming for a return to glory and a national title. JT Daniels will try to use his first true offseason program to his benefit and add some needed spice to an otherwise dull Georgia team that typically plays defense and runs the ball well. Clemson will start D.J. Uiagalelei, a highly touted prospect who showed out in limited fashion last year behind Trevor Lawrence. Georgia likes to think of themselves as an elite program but the truth is they are just at the very good level, and Clemson will show the country that under the lights in Charlotte, a place they treat like a home away from home.
