Brighton & Hove Albion v Leicester City
Brighton have enjoyed a dream start to the season with 3 wins in their first 4 matches. The Seagulls have been playing very strong football under manager Graham Potter and will look to continue it at home on the south coast. Leicester City have been up and down to start the year with 2 wins and 2 losses through 4 matches. The Foxes played midweek in the Europa League and drew 2-2 in a great game against Napoli. Despite their success to start the year, Brighton can still have trouble putting away chances and that could come back to bite them against a tired Leicester team traveling without several key players.
The Bet: Under 2.5 Total Goals
Alternate Bet: Draw
Prediction: Brighton 1-1 Leicester
West Ham United v Manchester United
Prior to Wednesday this was going to be the Jesse Lingard revenge game but now his status in the Manchester side is in doubt. His brutal giveaway in the Champions League match against Young Boys resulted in the game winning goal for the Swiss side and a loss for the Red Devils. United will look to use this game as a chance to get back on track. West Ham were running riot just a few short weeks ago but back to back recent draws against lesser competition have left them with question marks. The Hammers dispatched Dinamo Zagreb in the Europa League on Thursday but now they have to play without Michail Antonio as he serves a red card suspension. At full strength, with Manchester United not being desperate for a win, this game could very well end in a draw, but I expect the Red Devils to come out guns ablazing to atone for their midweek mistake.
The Bet: Manchester United to Win
Prediction: West Ham 1-2 Manchester United
Tottenham v Chelsea
The final game of the weekend is a London Derby that is sure to get the pulses racing. Tottenham will be back home after losing on the road 3-0 to Crystal Palace last week after a Japhet Tanganga red card sullied their chances at getting a result. Spurs will be without several key players, including Son Heung-min, which will dampen their attack. Chelsea come to North London full of confidence as they have won 4 of their first 5 matches in all competitions to start the season. The Blues were victorious at Stamford Bridge midweek over Zenit St Petersburg in the Champions League and it was, guess who, Romelu Lukaku scoring the winner. Both teams being equal, we would normally see a tight, close game with either side pulling out a win but with Spurs being short handed it would be shocking to see anything other than a Chelsea win.
The Bet: Chelsea to Win
Prediction: Tottenham 0-2 Chelsea
Fantasy Premier League (FPL) Transfer of the Day: Yves Bissouma M, Brighton & Hove Albion
The man from Mali has been on another level to start the season for Brighton. His control of the game at the midfield position has been unmatched and his price tag both in the real life transfer market and in fantasy is rising. Bissouma has scored more than 1 point in all but one game to start the season and he will get a chance to attack a tired Leicester team on Sunday. Bissouma also comes in at a very, I mean very, cheap $4.5 price point which will allow you to pay up for forwards like Romelu Lukaku and Harry Kane.
