West Bromwich Albion v. Everton

West Bromwich are unbeaten in their last 3 league games which is arguably their best streak of the season. Recent form aside, however, it would take a miracle run for the Baggies to stay up in the Premiership. Everton have won each of their last two games including a massive club win over local rivals, Liverpool. West Brom will likely play for a draw in this contest but Everton is maintaining that they can reach top-4 and qualify for Champions League next season which means they can not afford to drop points against a team at the bottom of the table.

Fulham v. Tottenham

A London Derby takes place this afternoon at Craven Cottage where the hosts will look to keep their good play rolling. Fulham are unbeaten in their last 5 matches which has greatly helped their chances of avoiding relegation. Tottenham have started to play much better football recently as their attacking play has become fluid and quite beautiful to watch. A front 4 of Harry Kane, Heung Min Son, Dele Alli, and Gareth Bale today should be far too much star power for Fulham to defend against.

Liverpool v. Chelsea

The final EPL game today squares two big-6 clubs against each other in a desperate battle for points to secure top-4 Champions League positions. Liverpool finally got back in the win column this weekend but that is not saying much considering their opponent was cellar dweller Sheffield United. Chelsea have looked completely different under new manager Thomas Tuchel and their suffocating defense helped shut down Manchester United in a goalless draw on the weekend. Both teams are fearful of losing this game which means we could end up with shared points at Anfield.

The Bet: Game to End in a Draw

Fantasy Premier League (FPL) Transfer of the Day: Dele Alli, CAM, Tottenham Hotspur

Dele Alli has been a very difficult player to judge this season. He has fallen out of favor with manager Jose Mourinho and has rarely seen the pitch in league play this year. Recently, however, his fortunes have begun to change. He draws a start as the #10 tonight for Spurs and is surrounded with world class attacking talent. Surely he must have a performance in him if he has anyway of getting back into the team sheet regularly.

The second leg of the second semi-final in the Copa Del Rey kicks off this afternoon and features two sides that typically don’t reach this stage of the competition. The first leg ended in a 1-1 draw in Bilbao which means everything is up for grabs today in Valencia. Barcelona awaits the winner of this tie in a final that will be sure to raise eyebrows. Recent form suggests Levante has the upper hand and playing at home might just be enough to comfort them into the Spanish Cup final.
